Yamantaka, also called Vajrabhairava (Dorje Jikje, "Terrifying Vajra"), is an aspect irritated of Manjushri, whose head orange appears in hair of the divinity. It is presented under varied aspects, sometimes only, sometimes in union with its padere Vajravetali (Dorje Rolangma, "Vajra Vampire")

yamantaka is a divinity particularly venerated by the Guelukpa, because of the strong identification of the founder of this Tsongkhapa kind, with Manjushri.
